Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears have agreed upon a new 7 year deal that would keep their quarterback in the Windy City until 2020. Cutler has been a member of the team since 2009 when he was traded from the Broncos for a 1st round pick. Cutler has been an above average quarterback for the Bears in his tenure with them, but the figures for this deal give me mixed feelings on this deal. 126 million dollars and 54 million of that is guaranteed to end up in Cutler's pocket. You probably do not want to giving that much money to an often injured quarterback who is loved by opposing fan bases. The only reason i wont give this a D grade is because the Bears aren't used to having good quarterbacks and Jay Cutler already holds basically every passing record for the Bears.

Grade:C- (71%)
